The Vale Community Centre

Our centre can be found at 12A Hadlow Close BN2 0FH, just off Queensway. If you come by bus, the number 2 stops at ‘Hadlow Close’. There is one public car parking space outside the centre and others fairly nearby in Queensway and Craven Road.

It is a small community centre, having been converted by the Council in 2004 from a storage shed for residents.

It has just the one room: 4m x 4.5m, plus a fully equipped kitchen and a disabled toilet. Note however, that the ceiling height is low, varying from 2m to 2.3m. There is also a small outside area with a play-friendly surface, but there are plenty of grassed areas within a few metres. It has a disabled ramp. Wi-fi is provided. Five fold-away tables and 25 padded chairs are provided.

Hire charges are very reasonable – local organisations pay £5 an hour with a maximum daily charge of £25. Other organisations pay £10 an hour, with a maximum of £30.
